Die ersten Superman-Team-ups fanden regelmäßig in der Serie World’s Finest mit Batman statt. Anfang der 70er traf Superman darin auch auf andere Helden. In den späten 70ern erhielt Superman eine eigene Team-up-Serie: DC Comics Presents – analog zu Batmans The Brave and The Bold.
